BEER BATTERED COD

Coated in a homemade beer batter, these fried fish and chips are crunchy and ridiculously addictive.


YIELD: 5-6 servings

INGREDIENTS


PREPARATION

  1. Heat oil in deep fryer to 185°F.
  2. Combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper in large bowl. Add egg and beer to dry ingredients, mix to combine.
  3. Dip fish into batter, then carefully lower one piece at a time into the fryer. Fry fish, turning once, until both sides are golden brown, about 7 minutes per batch. Place fish on paper towel lined sheet pan and continue process with remaining fish.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and serve with yukon gold, sweet potato fries and/or chips.
